Return and Earn
The Uralla Bowlo is a registered Return and Earn return point. Bring your empty eligible bottles, cans and cartons and earn 10 cents per container – seven days a week, self service, no fuss.
How it Works
1. Collect
Save your empty eligible bottles, cans and cartons at home. Most drink containers between 150ml and 3L with the 10¢ refund mark qualify
2. Return
Drop them at our self service machine at the back of the Bowlo located in the car park. Open 8am-7pm, seven days. No sorting required!
3. Earn
Choose your refund: a cash voucher redeemable at Foodworks Uralla, direct payment via the Return and Earn app, or a donation to charity.
What is Accepted
PLEASE NOTE: We do not accept household or car rubbish, nor do we have the facilities to do so. This constitutes as illegal dumping and can incur a fine.

The machine prints a voucher for your total refund. Take it to Foodworks Uralla to redeem for cash. Quick and simple – no app or account needed.
Donate to Charity
Choose to donate your refund to a nominated charity or community group at the machine. A simple way to turn your empties into something meaningful.
Return and Earn App
Download the free Return and Earn app and scan your barcode at the machine. Refunds paid directly to your bank account or PayPal – no voucher needed.
Why It Matters
Every container returned keeps material out of landfill and reduces litter across NSW. Since launching in 2017, billions of containers have been diverted from the waste stream statewide.
Redeeming a Cash Voucher?
Cash refund vouchers from our machines are redeemable at Foodworks Uralla. Take your printed voucher in-store to receive your refund in cash. Check the expiry date printed on the voucher before you go.
